Moving video from Windows to a Mac

Workaround if your Mac won't import video from your camera. 

1. Import video to Windows Movie Maker in .avi format instead of .wmv. 
2. Drag it to a flash drive and onto a Mac. 
3. From the File menu of your iMovie, select Import. 
4. Navigate to your video on the flash drive. 
5. Wa-la!
